sad news to report, the Mopar Museum of Tim Wellborn is auctioning off most of it's collection.

Tim Wellborn has often referred to his cars simply as “unobtainium.” Now with new plans to begin rotating displays at the Wellborn Musclecar Museum in Alabama, he's auctioning off some at Mecum in Kissimmee, January 2015.

the same or different?

Transporting Shelby’s racers were a team of specialized Ford transporters based on the CS500 platform; six in all, it is believed.

Still sporting its mostly original paint and interior – complete with wooden Cobra shift knob and dash mounted tachometer, it incorporates a 330 CI Ford engine with Cobra finned aluminum air cleaner, valve covers and oil pan, and mated to a 4-speed transmission.
