  1. I think Ford first figured this out almost a hundred years ago when when Ford's black model Ts started to slowly lose some of their market share to the brightly painted cars that their competitors were starting to offer.

    1. yup... all that damn plastic. At least old cars were painted metal and you could count on matching or complimentary colors on the doors and dash.. and the upholstery was amazingly varied
