It's a beautiful day, if you're in Las Vegas, why aren't you trackside at the LVMS watching the Optima Street Car Invitational? The cars are incredible!

if you're like me, and love muscle cars and sports cars of the late 60's, then I recommend seeing the Optima Challenge cars, they are simply the coolest and most direct form of the cars we are obsessed with, going fast, making noise, smoking tires, spinning out now and then around corners, and so on

in the pits this morning at the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Mornings at the track are a beautiful time to take photos

a great portable lift for use in the pits! I love this! Seen in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational pits

they slide right under low cars like this Corvette,

and with this tiny Honda generator that is so quiet,

powering this hydraulic mechanism

controlled by the hand held corded remote, it raises the car up enough to change tires, adjust suspension, etc. Even puts enough space under that car that you can put safety floor stands under the car too if you need to slide under with a creeper.

I'm very impressed. Once raised it clicks into slots in the jacks, preventing a drop if loss of power or hydraulics, and you must give it a little bit of a lift to release those clicked in locks, and then it lowers

I met a couple great people today, though I can't remember names n stuff... but, he won a golden ticket invite to the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational with his Fiesta

His artist friend did these cool panda paintings... I'll try to get more info soon

cool race car trailer innovation I came across at the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational today... because, any day at the track is better than any day at work, and you'll always find cool stuff... traction and additional height improvement to the trailer

it's tire recap material... not a cut up tire

the only other truck in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational this year was a complete surprise! A 1955 Dodge (Job rated, of course) and pinstriped by Von Hot Rod
